{"id":6928,"date":"2025-04-29T16:58:29","date_gmt":"2025-04-29T16:58:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dejunair.com\/?p=6928"},"modified":"2025-04-29T16:58:30","modified_gmt":"2025-04-29T16:58:30","slug":"potatoes-filled-with-meat-and-cheese-baked-twice","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dejunair.com\/?p=6928","title":{"rendered":"Potatoes filled with meat and cheese, baked twice"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"ingredients\">Ingredients:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Ingredients: 4 big russet potatoes<br>1 tablespoon of olive oil<br>Add salt and pepper according to your preference.<br>1\/2 pound of ground beef or lamb<br>1 little onion, chopped into small pieces.<br>1 carrot, cut into small pieces.<br>1 red pepper, chopped<br>2 pieces of garlic, finely chopped<br>1 teaspoon of dried herbs like thyme or rosemary<br>1\/2 cup of broth made from beef or vegetables.<br>1 cup of grated cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or a mix)<br>2 tablespoons of butter<br>1\/4 cup of milk or cream<br>Freshly cut parsley (for decoration)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"preparation\">PREPARATION:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Steps to follow:<br>To cook potatoes:<br>Heat the oven to 400\u00b0F (200\u00b0C) before using.<br>Clean the potatoes well and dry them. Poke them with a fork a few times, then coat them with olive oil, salt, and pepper.<br>Put on a baking tray and bake for around 60 minutes or until the potatoes are soft inside.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>Prepare the stuffing:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>While the potatoes are cooking, warm a frying pan on medium heat. Put the minced meat in the pan and cook it until it turns golden brown. Take out of the pan and place to the side.<br>In the same pan, add a bit more oil if needed. Cook the onion, carrot, and pepper until they are soft, for about 5 to 7 minutes. Put the garlic and dried herbs in the pan and cook for one more minute.<br>Put the meat back in the pan, pour in the broth, and let it cook until most of the liquid is gone.<br>Prepare stuffed potatoes:<br>After the potatoes are done, cut them in half lengthwise. Gently remove the potato skins, making sure to leave a little bit of potato on them.<br>Mix the scooped-out potatoes with butter and milk until they are smooth. Add salt and pepper to your liking.<br>Combine the mashed potatoes with the meat and vegetable mix, and then put the mixture back into the potato skins.<br>Put grated cheese on top of each potato half that is stuffed.<br>Bake Once More:<br>Put the potatoes back in the oven and bake for 20 to 25 more minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.<br>In short: These potatoes filled with meat and cheese can be a tasty main dish or a decadent side dish for a lighter meal.
