Savory Puff Pastry with Minced Meat and Cheese

Delicious for lunch, supper, or as an appetizer, this savory puff pastry is stuffed with minced beef, onions, cheese, and herbs. This dish is really delicious, thanks to the crunchy puff pastry and the soft, savory filling. A tangy yogurt and cucumber dip, together with cooked eggs, elevate this dish to the next level!

Things needed:

Filling with Ezoic Material:

One sheet of puff pastry, or more if necessary

Greasing with butter

1 finely chopped onion

dried basil, 1 teaspoon

minced meat (choose from pig, beef, or chicken) 300g

Grated cheese, such mozzarella or cheddar, 100 grams

One handful of chopped parsley

Two eggs, cooked and sliced

With Regards to the Egg Wash:

To glaze, use one egg yolk.

Yogurt Dip with Ezoic Ingredients:

two or three chopped pickled cucumbers

1 minced clove of garlic

White yogurt, three to four tablespoons

Season with salt and pepper, according to personal preference.

Fill the molds:

To make the chopped onion soft and golden, heat the butter in a skillet and sauté it.

Season the minced meat with salt, pepper, and dried basil, then add it to the skillet and brown it.

Garnish the cooked meat with chopped parsley, grated cheese, and boiled eggs. Turn the heat off and set aside to cool for a little.

Put the Puff Pastry Together:

Bake at 150°C (300°F) for at least 15 minutes.

Cut the puff pastry into squares, rectangles, or circles according to your preference after rolling it out on a floured board.

Spoon some filling into the middle of each croissant.

Seal the filling by folding the dough over it and pushing the edges together.

For a golden touch, brush the egg yolk over the top of each pastry.

Pastries should be filled and baked for 30 minutes, or until golden and puffy. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

To make the Yogurt Dip, combine the yogurt, minced garlic, and chopped pickled cucumbers in a small dish. Taste and add salt and pepper as needed. Be sure to mix well.
