Sautéed Wild Mallow with Garlic and Olive Oil

Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh wild mallow leaves, washed and chopped
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt (or to taste)
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin (optional)
  • Lemon wedges for serving

Instructions

In a pan, heat the olive oil over medium heat.

Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.

Add the chopped wild mallow leaves and stir well.

Season with salt, black pepper, and cumin (if using).

Cook for 5–7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the leaves are tender.

Remove from heat and serve warm with a squeeze of fresh lemon juice.
