Ingredients

Step 1: Prepare the Fish

  1. Pat the fish fillets dry using a paper towel to remove excess moisture. This helps them achieve a beautiful golden crust when cooked.
  2. Rub the fillets with olive oil, ensuring they are evenly coated.
  3. Season both sides with salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder. Set aside while preparing the sauce.
  4. Step 2: Make the Lemon Butter Sauce
  5. In a small saucepan, melt 3 tablespoons of butter over medium heat.
  6. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  7. Stir in lemon juice, lemon zest, honey (if using), and crushed red pepper flakes.
  8. Reduce the heat to low and let the sauce simmer for 1-2 minutes until it slightly thickens.
  9. Remove from heat and stir in fresh parsley for a burst of freshness.
