Ingredients
4 cups mini marshmallows
1/4 cup unsalted butter
4 ounces semi-sweet chocolate, chopped
6 cups Rice Krispies cereal
Instructions
Melt and Combine:
In a large pot, melt the butter over low heat.
Add the chopped semi-sweet chocolate and stir until melted and smooth.
Add mini marshmallows to the pot and continue stirring until completely melted and blended with the chocolate mixture.
Mix with Cereal:
Remove the pot from heat.
Pour in the Rice Krispies cereal and gently fold until evenly coated with the marshmallow-chocolate mixture. Use a spatula or wax paper for easier mixing.
Prepare the Pan:
Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish with butter or oil.
Press and Set:
Transfer the mixture into the prepared baking dish.
Use a spatula or wax paper to press the mixture firmly and evenly into the pan.
Cool and Serve:
Let the bars cool at room temperature until completely set, about 1-2 hours.
Once cooled and hardened, cut into squares or rectangles.
