Pasta with chicken and creamy herb sauce

Cook the Noodles* Prepare the noodles according to the package instructions until they are al dente (firm but not hard).

Sauté the Vegetables*

In a large frying pan, melt butter over medium-high heat.

Add chopped onion, minced garlic, Italian herbs, peas, and carrots.

Season with salt and pepper.

Cook for about 3 minutes, until the onions are tender and translucent.

  1. Make the Sauce

Stir in flour and mix until well blended.

Gradually add chicken broth and heavy cream.

Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat.

Stir occasionally and cook for about 5 minutes, until the sauce thickens.

  1. Combine and Serve

Drain the pasta and add it to the pan with the sauce.

Mix in the chicken, and season with additional salt and pepper to taste.

Serve hot and enjoy!
