★Ingredients
Warm water
3 tablespoons of baking soda
1 tablespoon of olive oil or coconut oil (optional, for added moisture)
A basin or foot bath
Moisturizing lotion or cream
★Instructions
- Prepare the Foot Soak
- Fill a basin or foot bath with enough warm water to cover your feet.
- Add the 3 tablespoons of baking soda to the warm water and stir until it dissolves completely.
- Soak Your Feet
- Place your feet in the basin and soak them for 15-20 minutes. The baking soda will help to soften the skin and remove any dead skin cells.
- Exfoliate (Optional).
- After soaking, you can gently scrub your feet with a pumice stone or foot scrub to remove any remaining rough patches. This step is optional but can be very effective.
- Moisturize
- After drying your feet, massage them with olive oil, coconut oil, or your favorite moisturizing lotion. This will help lock in moisture and keep your feet soft.
- For Extra Care (Optional).
- For an extra treatment, you can apply a thick layer of moisturizing cream and wear socks overnight to deeply nourish your feet.
Frequency
- Use this remedy 2-3 times a week to keep your feet soft and healthy.
This simple baking soda foot soak is an effective way to treat dry, cracked feet, leaving them refreshed and moisturized.
