Baked Cheese Casserole

★Ingredients

1 ½ cups cottage cheese

2 cups shredded cheddar cheese (or a blend of your favorite cheeses)

1 cup sour cream

1 cup milk

4 large eggs

1 cup bread crumbs

1 tsp onion powder

1 tsp garlic powder

½ tsp black pepper

½ tsp salt

2 tbsp butter, melted

Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

★Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×9 inch baking dish or casserole dish.

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, sour cream, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.

Stir in the cottage cheese, shredded cheese, and bread crumbs until well combined.

Pour the mixture into the prepared casserole dish and smooth the top.

Drizzle the melted butter over the top of the casserole to help it brown.

Bake for 35-40 minutes until the casserole is set and the top is golden and bubbly.

Remove from the oven and let it sit for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
