How to Make Fresh Ginger Juice – No Sugar Needed!

Ingredients:

  • 1 large piece of fresh ginger (about 100-150g)
  • 2 cups water
  • Juice of 1 lemon (optional, for extra flavor)
  • Optional: A few mint leaves or a pinch of cinnamon for added taste

Instructions:

  1. Wash & Peel the Ginger:
    • Wash the ginger root thoroughly.
    • Peel off the skin using a spoon or knife.
  2. Grate or Chop the Ginger:
    • Finely grate the ginger, or chop it into small pieces if using a blender.
  3. Blend or Boil:

Option 1 – Blender Method:

  • Place the grated/chopped ginger into a blender.
  • Add 2 cups of water.
  • Blend well until the ginger is fully broken down.

Option 2 – Boil Method:

  • Add the chopped ginger to 2 cups of water.
  • Bring to a boil, then let simmer for 10-15 minutes.
  • Let cool slightly.
  1. Strain:
    • Use a fine sieve or cheesecloth to strain the juice into a jar or bottle, removing the ginger pulp.
  2. Optional Add-ins:
    • Squeeze in the juice of 1 fresh lemon for extra flavor.
    • Add mint leaves, cinnamon, or even turmeric if desired (still without sugar).

How to Enjoy:

  • Drink 1 small glass daily as a refreshing tonic.
  • Can be served warm or chilled.
  • Store in the fridge for up to 3-4 days.
