Ingredients:
- 10.6 oz (300 grams) milk chocolate
- 7 oz (200 grams) sweetened condensed milk
- 10.6 oz (300 grams) shredded coconut
- 2 tbsp powdered milk
Instructions:
- Make the Coconut Filling
In a large mixing bowl, combine:- Sweetened condensed milk
- Shredded coconut
- Powdered milk
Mix everything well until a thick, moldable dough forms.
- Shape the Bars
Press the coconut mixture into a compact rectangular slab (on parchment paper or a tray).
Slice into bars or bite-sized shapes as you prefer. - Melt the Chocolate
Place the milk chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl.
Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until the chocolate is fully melted and smooth. - Coat the Bars
Dip each coconut bar into the melted chocolate, making sure it’s fully coated.
Use a fork to lift and let the excess chocolate drip off. - Set the Candies
Place the coated bars on a tray lined with parchment paper.
Transfer the tray to the refrigerator or freezer until the chocolate is firm (about 30–60 minutes). - Enjoy!
Once set, remove from parchment and store in an airtight container in a cool place or the fridge.
Tips:
- You can use dark chocolate instead of milk chocolate if you prefer a richer taste.
- Optional: Add a dash of vanilla extract to the coconut mixture for extra flavor.
- For a festive touch, drizzle melted white chocolate on top after setting
