Ingredients:
For the Chocolate Cake:
- 4 eggs
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup vegetable oil
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup cocoa powder
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
For the Cream Filling:
- 2 cups milk
- 3 tbsp cornstarch
- 4 tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
For the Topping:
- Chocolate sprinkles
Directions:
- Prepare the Cream Filling:
In a saucepan, mix milk, sugar, and cornstarch. Cook on medium heat, stirring continuously until thick. Add vanilla and let it cool. - Make the Cake Batter:
In a bowl, beat the eggs and sugar until fluffy. Add milk, oil, and vanilla. Gradually add flour, cocoa, and baking powder. Mix until smooth. - Bake the Cake:
Pour half of the batter into a greased baking pan. Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 20 minutes. Remove, spread the cream filling evenly, then pour the remaining batter on top. Bake for another 20–25 minutes or until cooked through. - Finish the Cake:
Let it cool, then cover the surface generously with chocolate sprinkles.
