Grilled chicken with cheddar cheese

★Ingredients

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter (optional)
  • 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs (optional for a crunchy topping)
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

★Instructions

Preheat the Oven* Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Prepare the Chicken* Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika on both sides.

Make the Cheese Mixture* In a bowl, mix together the sour cream, cheddar cheese, and Parmesan cheese.

Coat the Chicken* Place the chicken breasts in a baking dish. Spread the cheese mixture evenly over the top of each chicken breast.

Optional Crunchy Topping* If you’d like a crunchy topping, mix the panko breadcrumbs with the melted butter and sprinkle it over the cheese-coated chicken.

Bake* Bake the chicken in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is fully cooked and the cheese is melted and bubbly. If you added the panko topping, it should be golden brown.

Garnish and Serve* Once baked, garnish with fresh parsley if desired and serve hot.
