Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Place the salmon fillet on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
In a small bowl, mix together the brown sugar, paprika, black pepper, and salt.
Rub the garlic butter over the surface of the salmon fillet.
Sprinkle the brown sugar spice mixture evenly over the salmon.
Drizzle a little olive oil over the salmon to help it cook and prevent it from drying out.
Roast the salmon in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until it flakes easily with a fork and reaches your desired level of doneness.
Remove the salmon from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
