Ingredients
1/4 cup honey
3 cloves garlic, minced
1.5 to 2 pounds of boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs
1/2 cup soy sauce
1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
1 tablespoon cornstarch
Optional garnish: sliced green onions and sesame seeds
Creamy Chicken Alfredo Lasagna Rolls
Savory Ham and Cheese Crescents
Instructions
Place the chicken in the slow cooker.
In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, and grated ginger.
Pour the sauce over the chicken, ensuring it’s evenly coated.
Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours or on high for 2-3 hours, until the chicken is tender and cooked through.
In the last 30 minutes of cooking, mix the cornstarch with a tablespoon of water until smooth. Stir the cornstarch mixture into the slow cooker to thicken the sauce.
Once the chicken is cooked and the sauce has thickened, serve the teriyaki chicken over cooked rice or noodles.
Garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds, if desired.
