Ingredients

1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened

Savory Pork Chops with Creamy Scalloped Potatoes
Instructions
In a small bowl, combine warm milk, yeast, and a pinch of sugar. Let it sit for about 5 minutes until foamy.
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, and salt.
Make a well in the center of the dry ingredients and pour in the yeast mixture.
Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
Gradually incorporate the softened butter into the dough, mixing until smooth and elastic.
Transfer the dough to a lightly floured surface and knead for about 10 minutes until it becomes smooth and elastic.
Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it with a clean kitchen towel or plastic wrap, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 to 2 hours, or until doubled in size.
Punch down the risen dough and divide it into equal portions. Shape each portion into balls and place them in a greased baking pan, leaving some space between each.
Cover the pan with a clean kitchen towel and let the dough rise again for about 30 minutes.
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
Brush the risen dough with some beaten egg wash for a shiny finish.
Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly before serving.
